Located just in front of Buenos Aires (1 hour by ferry to cross the widest river of the world)… is Carmelo, one of the best courses of Uruguay.
The course winds across uneven terrain with fast, wavy greens, some doglegs, more than 85 difficult sand bunkers and vast lakes as water hazards. Only holes 1, 3 and 10 are spared from water. However, the water hazards hardly interfere with the game, so that golfers only come across a green at hole 7, which isdirectly behind a lake and requires a far tee-off. The Carmelo Golf Course is said tobe one of the best inUruguay.
Since 2010 is part of Carmelo Golf Club and home for the PGA Uruguayan tournament.
Just 5 minutes from the Golf, we have a Luxury Hotel – The Hyatt Carmelo. The combination of relax and golf is just great.
